Hand carved and painted Pookmis mask by Ruper Scow (Kwakwaka’wakw). Pookmis (aka Pugwis) is an Undersea Human Spirit of Kwakwaka’wakw lore. The mask is adorned with horse hair and measures approximately 11″ tall, 12″ wide and 6″ deep, not including hair.
