Point, Susan
Susan Point was born in Alert Bay, British Columbia in 1952 and now resides on the Musqueam First Nations Reservation in Vancouver, BC.
Susan began her art career in her late 20’s, carving rings, pendants, bracelets and other Jewellery. Her works are distinct in their expression of traditional Coast Salish style. She has created a large body of innovative works in a wide range of mediums.
In addition to an array of contemporary prints, she has produced large scale public art in glass, metal, wood and concrete.
Susan’s creations can be found in private collections and galleries around the world and are central pieces of the art collection welcoming visitors to the Vancouver International Airport.
